A little frustrating at times. You select a channel, and it shows a green bar with 100 over it, but says 'signal week trying to tune.' If you don't do anything it can't find it! But if you do channel up, then channel down it tunes right in?? Other than that it works great! That's the only reason for 4 stars! Unlock leased iphone.

I bought this because of the CBS blackout and so far it's working great! The installation is very simple, just connect the usb cable to the hopper and the antenna to the OTA adapter. After that you just have to run a channel scan.
The nice thing about this is the local channels will integrate into the existing programming guide with the rest of the Dish network channels.OTA DISH tuner

I have one on our Hopper #3, works great and provides an additional tuner option for OTA channels. Recently replaced a 211K that had a built-in OTA tuner with a Wally so I added this OTA to it. Works great!

DishForMyRV customer service says this tuner only works with the Wally, but every other seller says it (same SKU) works with the Hopper as well. My Hopper recognized the tuner, and it seemed to work for a while. But frequently, it would report it lost the signal, and the only way to get it working again was to restart the DVR. When I was checking out the OTA tuner settings, the Hopper would almost always crash and reboot.
I realize giving this item two stars is a bit unfair since DishForMyRV clearly describes it as being for the Wally, but my review is for others who may assume it works with the Hopper. For use with the Hopper, I wouldn't recommend the tuner at this time. Perhaps a future software update will eliminate the problems.CBS local channel not being aired because of a disbute

Since, CBS and Dish are having a dispute I was unable to record CBS station. I was able to see CBS channels using my Over The Air Antenna OK but I was going to have to be home to watch it. So, I look for a solution and found this Tuner so I could hook up my OTA Antenna right up to Hopper3 receiver. Manhattan usb to serial drivers for mac. I followed the instruction from Dish Network on how to set it up and low and behold I can not only watch the channels using my hopper but I can see 8 days of programming and best of all I can record my CBS programs. So, CBS and Dish I now don't care if you ever resolve your dispute.
