To get that massive sound that you hear in the demo and the free demo loops above, we recorded these drums in a large garage that was half empty and boasted 10ft ceilings. During mixing we included just enough of the room mics to give you that huge live drum sound while managing to retain clarity and focus on each piece of the drum kit.
We were also careful to check the drum mix alongside some heavy guitars and bass to ensure that these drum loops have the brightness and clarity that your metal tracks require. Take a listen to the demo and you’ll hear what we mean.
