Marvel's Most Wanted was supposed to air on ABC as a spinoff of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., with Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood reprising their roles as Bobbi Morse (aka Mockingbird) and Lance Hunter, respectively. The project received a pilot order in August of 2015 and added some new cast members shortly thereafter, including Delroy Lindo as Dominic Fortune, Fernanda Andrade as Christina Santos and Oded Fehr as a 'well-known' Marvel Comics character. Production of the Marvel's Most Wanted pilot began in early 2016. By the spring of 2016 many fans patiently awaited the news on weather or not ABC would decide to move forward with the spin-off. Unfortunately the news was not what fans had hoped for, on May 12, 2016 ABC announced that they were not going to be moving forward with the series. Marvel's Most Wanted, or simply Most Wanted, is an unaired television pilot based on the characters of Bobbi Morse and Lance Hunter, and was intended to be a spin-off to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. It was slated to be produced by Marvel Television, and to air on ABC. On May 12, 2016, it was announced that ABC would not pick up the series.
Agents of SHIELD has been superb this season, and Agent Carter‘s second season looks like a promising followup to an excellent series. So, ABC appears to want to follow it up, by ordering a pilot for Mockingbird: Marvel’s Most Wanted.
For those unfamiliar, the pilot would follow SHIELD agent Bobbi Morse (Adrianne Palicki) and her ex-husband Lance Hunter (Nick Blood) as they hunt down supervillains, HYDRA agents, and assorted scum of the Marvel Universe. Well, Bobbi will hunt down supervillains. If this season of Agents of SHIELD is any indication, Hunter will screw up her operations with his machismo and complain a lot.
It’s not clear exactly how much it will cross over with its mother series, or who else might be cast, although ABC has been oddly insistent that the show is not a spin-off. That said, as Agents of SHIELD has embraced its superspy-meets-superheroes concept and stepped away from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it’s become great in its own right, so it’s not clear exactly what this new take could bring to the table.
One thing Marvel and ABC might try, and which would be exciting, is to make it a limited summer series that picks up once Agents of SHIELD ends in May. Agent Carter, Daredevil, and Jessica Jones all benefited enormously from shorter runs, and one arc, or a few short arcs, of hunting specific villains would suit the idea well.
The plan appears to remain that the pilot will air as an episode of Agents of SHIELD and if response is positive enough, it’ll go to series next year. Sms peeper free. Although we’re kind of hoping Fitz gets his own series, considering what a badass he’s been this season. Come on, ABC, you’ve made him a Scottish Indiana Jones, that deserves some play.

With the continued success of Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,' ABC is not stopping itself from coming up with new ideas for new shows at the network. According to an IGN report, Marvel has reportedly ordered a pilot for a spinoff of the 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'
The spinoff, which is tentatively called 'Marvel's Most Wanted', will reportedly star the character Mockingbird, otherwise known as Bobbi Morse in the hit superhero series. In the series, the character is played by Adrianne Palicki and with the pilot order, she is expected to cross over to the new series if needed. The project will also reportedly feature Morse's on-and-off partner Lance Hunter, who is played by Nick Blood.
The IGN report also mentioned that as early as April 2015, rumors about the spinoff project were already circulating but were quickly followed by news that it was no longer pushing through.

Another report in BGR mentioned that the project was junked early on, but ABC president Paul Lee himself later hinted that 'the show might rise from the ashes after all' and added, 'It certainly is a possibility of spinning them off.' The report also said that the network has yet to decide if it will eventually run the spinoff as it all depends on how the public will respond to the pilot. If this is the case, then the upcoming season of 'S.H.I.E.L.D.' may possibly touch on how the characters of Morse and Hunter will be leaving the team.
